What we do

An agent that works for the seller, not the buyer.

Marketplaces take the buyer's side. They set the price and hold the catalog, and some reset your rate every year. VectorPax is engaged by the seller. We take a fixed share of what we place, and nothing when we place nothing.

the rights file, not the data

  1. Represent

We hold your rights file, not your data. Nothing leaves your custody before a license is signed.

    custody: seller

  2. Price

Every quote is benchmarked to the current clearing price for that class of data. You see the benchmark, not just the offer.

    basis: market clearing

  3. Place

Buyers send us a specification. We match it to onboarded sellers, negotiate the license, and close.

01

Intake

Tell us what you hold. Audience data or footage, approximate volume, where it came from, and what rights you have to it.

02

Provenance

We verify chain of title, consent basis and opt-out state before a buyer sees a sample. If it will not clear, we tell you why.

03

Match and price

Buyer specifications arrive weekly. We match them to your inventory, quote against the market, and negotiate the license.

04

Settle

The buyer pays VectorPax. Your share is scheduled for ACH the same week, with a statement that itemizes every license.

03

What we license

Two lines of inventory, one rights file.

Most agents cover one line. We cover both, because the buyers increasingly overlap and the compliance work is the same.

Marketplace figures are the range of published contributor terms at the major stock-footage marketplaces, September 2026. No single vendor is described. About twice at the midpoint of each range. Standard terms; the signed agreement governs.

VectorPax keeps the balance of net revenue on each license we place. No listing fees, no onboarding fees, no charge for provenance review. Nothing is owed until something licenses.

Why now

Provenance is now mandatory. The fines began this summer.

Four things changed in 2026. Together they mean cleared inventory sells now, and uncleared inventory will not sell for long.

  1. DROP opened to consumers

California's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform began taking deletion requests. The queue has been building since.

  2. LiveRamp expanded its marketplace to AI

Data, models and agents for AI use cases, sourced through licensed channels. Demand-side pull.

  3. DROP processing began

Registered data brokers must clear the queue at least every 45 days. $200 a day, per unfulfilled request.

  4. Article 53 fines became live

The EU AI Office can now fine general-purpose model providers that cannot produce a training-data summary.

DROP, the Delete Request and Opt-out Platform

California Delete Act

Registered data brokers must process consumer deletion requests at least every 45 days. Every audience record we license carries its opt-out state, so a buyer can show what it held and when.

penalty
$200 per day, per unfulfilled deletion request

Training-data summary for general-purpose models

EU AI Act, Article 53

General-purpose model providers must publish a summary of the content used to train. Footage licensed through VectorPax ships with a provenance record that supports the lab's Article 53 summary.

penalty
Up to 3% of global annual turnover or EUR 15M, whichever is higher

Sellers who can document provenance clear first, and clear higher. That window is open now. Buying? Send us a specification and we will match it to cleared inventory. Send a spec
